I dodged a bullet

Pros

Was offered a full time position and wanted to negotiate salary, sick days and benefits. They asked for my salary expectations and then came back in the offer letter that they'd pay me the $1 extra after 3 months. They wouldn't budge on the sick days and benefits starting on day 1. In my in person interview they expressed that they wanted more of a work like balance as everyone was working overtime, yet are too cheap to pay me what I asked for, but decided to make me wait for 3 months which resulted in $480. Talk about being very petty and you want to bring good people on board, well guess what, you have to pay for that type of work experience. They think they can just suck you in cause most people are desparte and they can work you like a dog. So I had turned away the opportunity and thanked them, but without even receiving a return email back with the acknowledgement. Very unprofessional. Some advice, If you want to get good people in the door, have some flexibility with negotiating. There are good companies out there and after dealing with HR, you should be fired. You lack any form of what real world expectations are these days.

Cons

I just know that I wouldn't be a good fit based in the interaction I had trying to negotiate into my offer. I lost all excitement.

Pros

None - it was kinda survival job, I guessed it would be better than pizza delivery, my bad! Little did I know!

Cons

Family owned business, with son being CEO, his wife top management as well. Poor pay, hectic environment, no communication, lies and deceits everywhere. Stay away, don't you think it's good because it's German! Nein!

Pros

Good chance for OT on regular occasions

Cons

There is no job security. If they don’t seem to like you then they will term you. There are to many clicks in management and thus if you are not in there clicks then watch your back. In addition, there is no organization and they do not care about there employees. They fail to do employee reviews what so ever. If they say anything in regards to a 90 day review, don’t expect it to happen. Not once did they keep any promise about wage adjustment even though they said they would and because of this people who were amazing employees left. The employee morale is virtually nonexistent to the point that they have lost people who have been there for 10 plus years. If you fail to plan then you plan to fail. This should be their motto.
