ACB would like to thank you for posting your comments. We would like to address your comments with a couple of facts. ACB provides an open door policy to address concerns such as those posted. You always have the option of discussing your concerns with your manager, upper management or HR. There is a clear discrepancy with the company culture, vision, direction and your comments. For example, our philosophy on internships is quite the opposite. We are offering various opportunities for high school, college and post graduate students to gain experience in trade and logistics. Our apprenticeship program offers a much higher hourly wage than what you propose, as well as a free tuition at MDC through the life of the program (18 months). I would encourage you to express these concerns with the company to clarify any misunderstandings.

We abide by our time and attendance policy as listed in our employee handbook, which are in accordance to minimum wage and overtime provisions of the FLSA. Overtime compensation is paid to all nonexempt (hourly) employees in accordance with federal and state wage and hour restrictions. Exempt (salaried) employees hold jobs that meet the standards and criteria established under the FLSA by the U.S. Department of Labor.
