Pros

There aren't any pros to this job. It's the worst.

Cons

This job is one of the worst experiences I've ever had to deal with. They tell you it's an account manager job for a direct marketing agency when in reality they just want you to sell on parking lots, badgering people while they're eating in their cars to sell them random products. The whole interview it's a lie. The salary they suggest you'll earn is not attainable, there are no benefits and as you "grow" within the company, they expect you to work basically from 7 pm to 8 pm + with the promise that in 1 year tops you'll own your own office. You will be disrespected every single day and expected to sell a certain amount of goodie bags with low-quality products or otherwise, you will have to go "night merch" which is basically finding a gas station to get people in their cars to buy your stuff. They don't care about safety at all. Plus, the "client", who in reality is the owner, Brock James Colette, is a convicted felon for murder who was in prison for 10 years for killing someone, and now he just scams others.

Don't work here unless you want to be an adult girl scout

Pros

Literally none, the fact that this is a legitimate business is beyond me. If I could give negative stars I would.

Cons

This place is not an actual marketing firm but instead an elaborate scheme. They tell you all about how important marketing is with promises of fast advancement in the company but the only thing this business does is run a circus of adult girl scouts. They force you to go inside businesses and go up to customers shopping as well as the employees and pitch to them to buy a bag of cheap crap made in china and claim it's worth over $80. While doing this I got kicked out of multiple stores for soliciting and laughed at in my face. They also forced me to walk around in the pouring rain and blazing heat. Working here is embarrassing and degrading and if you have any sense of self-respect you won't do it. They require a college degree but make you do the same job 7-year-old girls do. Stay as far away from this place as possible.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. A Promotions is a marketing agency based in Atlanta that operates in accordance with the state labor laws and is in no way an elaborate scheme. We strive to create a positive work environment for our team members. We wished that you would have expressed these concerns while you were employed with us so we could have addressed them. We are confident that these issues were not brought up as we conduct exit interviews with each team member who has moved on from A Promotions to proactively collect feedback to continuously improve. Also, all representatives know exactly what they are getting into during the interview process, and no one is required to go inside businesses and go up to customers shopping as well as the employees and pitch to them to buy, we work with multiple clients and have many strategies for communicating with their customers. Posting negligent lies online to slander a company is unprofessional and can be very damaging to a business of our size. We would like to take the opportunity to address your concerns in more detail. Please email hr@apromotionsinc.com to discuss your grievances in more detail and hopefully find a resolution.

Pros

The people there were all nice and energetic.

Cons

When I applied, the job titles for the job were all lies and every position is the same. You are basically a Sales Representative and you are selling $20 bags of soap or makeup. They will tell you they work with outside clients, but the ONE client is a former worker who created his own brand and now works inside the building, as well. You have to really hustle in order to even make a decent check. This job claims they are a true marketing firm, but really it’s just a room full of sales reps and men who profit off of it. Great job if you don’t have a degree or a sense of pride.

We think it's possible that you formed certain conclusions that were a little bit different from how we actually run the company. To state the obvious, sales training is an essential part of business training. This is why we open up so many areas for questions during the hiring process. We do not follow unethical business practices and always try to motivate young professionals. We’d greatly appreciate the opportunity to make things right. If you’re open to discussing this further, please call us at (770) 558-4259.
