Pros

Most people working there are hard workers and very easy to get along with.

Cons

Lots of issues here. 1. Once a year they post fake 5 star glassdoor reviews- look at the 3 reviews dated Feb 27 '2019 and the 4 reviews all dated in February 2018 for proof. 2. The CEO runs this company like a dictator with absolute authority to change his mood and fire people. This is a lot of stress for existing employees who are always uncertain what he will spring on them next. Once every 12-15 months he brings in an individual as a manager for a 3 month stint to fire a whole bunch of employees. After this firing spree that individual magically resigns! The same manager is then rehired to repeat the same drama in 12-15 months time and when the job is done, he is gone again. He is back on his third or possibly 4th stint right now. This is like a cartoon sideshow except the stress it brings on people is very real. 3. The company is run like an operation that clones peoples skills and then disposes of them after the brain dump is complete. I have seen many qualified highly experienced people get hired, then made to transfer all kinds of knowledge to an internal employee (usually chinese with rare exceptions) without a relevant degree or experience and finally they are let go by their part time cartoon character/actor/manager. There is nothing wrong in hiring chinese or chinese descent americans or for that matter anyone from any race. What is wrong is the blantant bias towards chinese who are NOT FULLY QUALIFIED. Hiring a local american with a degree and relevant industry experience, getting a chinese person to shadow their day to day operations, then firing the american and giving the chinese person the same post is very unethical. 4. The ceo doesn’t trust anyone. His constant suspicion is what fuels problems in this company. There is constant micromangement. Why hire experienced qualified individuals in a line of work and override them almost every time? And there is the audacity to clone and fire! Being a PHD in Mettalurgy does not mean one knows anything remotely in Accounting or Supply Chain and pretending that your PHD makes you qualified to do heart surgery is the height of arrogance. 5. Contrary to many fake posts on glassdoor, the turnover in this company is extremely high. People are constantly leaving or getting fired. There is almost nothing done to improve employee morale. There are no wage increases ever. Most people are given the attitude that they are lucky to work in communist style work conditions. 6. Nepostism, nepostim, nepotism- this is done openly- certain chinese nationals are always favored with a few exceptions of other races who the ceo likes to keep very close. Getting ahead because of raw talent and hard work is alien to aametals. 7. The ceo equates longer work hours with loyalty. This encourages most employees on hourly pay to do 3 hour jobs in 6 hours. It encourages laziness and inefficiency.

Pros

Free food on Friday and clean facilities.

Cons

Toxic environment, no upward mobility, unethical business practices. It is simply not a healthy place to work. Additionally, the CEO/owner heavily favors the Chinese nationals that he brings into the organization. He literally gives careers and the best positions to Chinese nationals (H1B) over US citizens that are perfectly capable of performing in these roles. He does this for control and lower pay. I question the legality of it. Very high turnover as well.

Pros

Sounds good at first but just wait until it's time to get paid.

Cons

Extremely high turnover in headquarters. Moral is non existent ,this stems from the CEO on down. Micro management from the multitude of un qualified "managers".
