Flexibility. my current job working in implantable medical device development and manufacturing. It is very high tech and our products help people that are suffering from chronic illnesses or other conditions.
Cons
Stress. When looking for jobs people will want commercial experience with a particular API. Without that, you might find it hard to get that particular job.
