This place is a hell hole. If offered a job, you would be better off working at McDonalds. Short staff, awful culture, huge turn around, did I say short staffed?

Pros

AAK offers a competitive salary and great benefits. They have switched from experience-based pay to skill-based pay. As a lab tech, you get the opportunity to work with a lot of interesting equipment. The schedule is a 2-2-3, so every other weekend is a 3-day weekend.

Cons

The lab work can become repetitive and tedious. The culture can be stressful because there is a lot of tension between quality and production. The work load is fast-paced, which can become overwhelming. The overall condition of the lab and plant in general is dirty because of vegetable oil everywhere.

i cant put in words what a dump this place is but i will share with you what one of the supervisors said to me once while i was employed there and i quote " I DIDNT HIRE YOU FROM THE NECK UP JUST THE NECK DOWN" end quote ...Enough Said!
