Double Standards

Pros

*pay * benefits * experience for entry level recruiters

Cons

* if you aren't family, you are a stranger - family isn't necessarily defined as blood relatives but more the "core" team * Managers treat recruiters as though they are a dollar to be made not living beings * "show up or shut up" mentality - either you are there and connected to your position 24/7 or you are pushed out by members of leadership not even saying "hello" to you. * witnessed abuse towards recruiters and double standards where some newer recruiters were expected to not even get out of their chairs but others played ball in the aisle ways.

Pros

Pay is ok and the other recruiters are pretty friendly

Cons

Where to begin - 0 accountability for sales team or account managers -facilities are in control of absolutely everything -more often than not you’ll have a job to fill and hires for that job then the facility will just randomly decided to close opportunities - they have a bonus structure that was designed for Covid/fema rates (implemented in 2023) -there is no communication or very little communication in job needs and the facility will just add on needs as you staff for the lm like Ben and Jerry’s -the owner down to the VP and some account managers are all related or a related friend and most are unqualified to be in the positions they are in - they have 0 respect for personal life and 0 respect for work life balance. - the turnover rate is extremely high and a lot of tenured and new recruiters tend to leave and go to other staffing companies

Thank you for your feedback. There are many opportunities and some challenges that come with the role of being a healthcare recruiter. Because we are in the business of temporary staffing, we do have clients that no longer need staff and sometimes cancel contracts. We understand that this can be frustrating as a recruiter, but it is part of our business. As a recruiter, it is important that you are accessible to your providers when they need you and that generally means that you will work more than a typical 8-5 shift. Your manager, within reason, will be able work with you to accommodate any personal matters you need to attend to during those hours. Please feel free to reach out to your manager or HR with any further feedback.
