A waste of valuable time for families and workers

Pros

The opportunity to work with great children and families is always a plus, but that opportunity is available with any company in the field.

Cons

I have to agree with the review that states that the positive reviews on this site are written by those who work in admin. It seems likely that a "good" review will appear within a few days of this one to attempt to bring the average number of stars up. The training is terrible, pay is not in line with the rest of the field, they are dishonest with families, making promises on behalf of workers that can not humanly be kept, which leaves you, as the next person the family sees, as the one to deal with the family's anger and disappointment (however, you will have no knowledge of what the families are told until you are confronted). You can end up traveling more than you work with no reimbursement for travel. Therapists are all contracted (meaning you must buy your own liability insurance, pay for your own background checks, and cover any expenses you have, put aside money for your own taxes, pay self employment tax, no benefits, including no workman's comp if you are injured, no unemployment, etc.) and rarely, if ever, full time. It is almost impossible to do good work without support from admin, without reasonable training and without a reasonable schedule. The high school atmosphere is mind blowing; don't ask for anything or their attitude toward you will turn ugly and stay that way.

Pros

When the work day ended

Cons

I would rather clean toilets than ever work for this company again. The CEO acts like a teenager and is completely unprofessional. If you want to be paid minimum wage and be taken advantage of - this is the job for you! The company is solely focused on how much money they can make from ignoring ethical guidelines and accepting new clients at an alarming rate. This is a BABYSITTING SERVICE with a few good BCBA’s. The CEO stalks their employees social media and makes fake accounts to lurk and to give her company positive reviews. No one is giving this place positive reviews. You will be worked to the brink of exhaustion and then be offered a 20 cent raise for your annual “review”. This place is an absolute joke and I am entirely unsure of how it is still functioning. Don’t waste your time even giving this place a second look.

Pros

I have worked as a therapist at numerous companies. I feel as though this company actually cares about making sure I am able to keep a full caseload and work the hours I want to work. At other companies if a client cancels then I just don’t get paid. At ABA2DAY I’m offered the chance to cover when my clients cancel. I feel very supported by all the staff there especially the administration. I’m excited to continue to grow in such a great company.

Cons

the only downside is that the compensation is lower than other companies. I understand that this is because we are now all employees and have the room to become salaried... however I wish it started a little higher!
