Pros

ABC is a family business, and still run that way even though they have 250 employees. Entrepreneurial, quick to make changes. They are enthusiasstic about buses and very success-oriented

Cons

Impatient, too focused on sales and not enough on operations. Each facility is its own silo and guards its turf jealously. Management plays favorites, usually family members or old friends.

Family business is really passionate of their industry & really are motivated to push boundaries. If you have the right manager they will take the time to teach you everything of the industry & set you up for success.

Cons

Favoritism: if you are a favorite of the family, you will be protected no matter what you do or how bad you perform. Some family members take advantage of employees & business affairs for their personal benefit.
