Recent changes in management have drastically impacted the company culture.
The departure of the HR manager and subsequent changes to the HR team have resulted in a lack of care and empathy for employees.
The new HR team and leadership appear disconnected from the well-being of staff, creating a more hostile and less supportive environment. They never get back to queries or tries to resolve urgent matters on time and just gave generic responses for questions, never offer real help.
Long-term employees have been let go, which raises concerns about the company’s commitment to its workforce and makes it feel like there’s no long-term stability or security for those left behind.
The new accounting manager has a bullying attitude, has shown a complete disregard for work-life balance. Expecting employees to work excessive overtime without compensation, and frequently sending emails and messages after hours (including weekends & statutory day off, personal holidays) and also expecting to get immediate replies, giving tasks with same day deadline right before day is over has created a toxic atmosphere.
The overall lack of respect for personal time and failure to compensate for extra work has left employees feeling undervalued and demotivated.
With all these changes, it has become increasingly clear that this is no longer a company I want to work for long-term.
