Pros

Permanent remote, you don't have to worry about RTO. The Friday after Thanksgiving is included in the Thanksgiving holiday so you automatically get it off. You're not micromanaged.

Cons

Absolutely no room for growth. They do not give out raises; not for cost of living, NOTHING. Management is all over the place, you're better off doing something and seeing if it works because in the event they DO respond, it's only to parrot back what you said to them (if they bothered to read the email at all). PTO is not split; you get two weeks for vacation AND sick time per year. You only get SIX holidays off, the bare minimum of Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years; it's absolutely awful. Combined with your measly two weeks, it feels like you never get a real break or time off. They changed the health insurance to Sidecar Insurance and they are absolute TRASH.

Pros

-WFH is the biggest plus - flex-time. Management is super relaxed in Flex Time. I never have issues using Flex Time, or getting days off. -no micromanaging, at least in my department - management is easy to talk to, co workers are great, we are like family - new ideas are welcomed. Issues want to be addressed by management. Management has gotten a lot better over the years with communication.

Cons

-constant policy/rule changes, but this is a client-based position, what the client says, goes. This can be frustrating when things are constantly changing. - I don’t feel adequately paid for my job, and knowledge I hold - raises are once a year, but they aren’t much. - no room for growth
