Pros

Co-workers and clients make the job worth working. They do have virtual offices which is nice there are agents all over the country.

Cons

Technology, it is always breaking, you can't do your job. IT has told people it is because we are working on an outdated system and they don't want to put the money in to fix it. The pay is bad compared to other agencies, they do not give free airline tickets like other agencies, they save them for the yearly meeting. They can't keep employees because they won't compete with the other agencies. They over work their employees and management. Oh and if you have kids and want their insurance plan you will be paying almost $500 every pay check. .

Pros

The agents are amazing and deserve better!

Cons

Micro, micro manage. The agents are treated with no respect at all. The owner has a nasty "executive" & "leadership ha!) teams to do his dirty work so he doesn't look like a bad guy & everyone loves him. Yet, a huge amount of agents have left, they can barely get any to stay longer then 90 days, lost accounts and he doesn't know, yea right. They try to run it like the huge companies but refuse to hire enough employees or update the booking technology to do so. The pay & benefits are awful. The 5 star reviews are most likely from the executive /leadership teams.

Pros

ADTRAV will give you an opportunity to demonstrate your coding skills. For engineers, salary is a bit above market, plus they have a good bonus compensation plan. Casual dress and flexible work hours are plus. The people are really nice overall.

Cons

ADTRAV is a travel management company, that has a technology team. This is a bit different than being a travel management SasS company. Benefits are not that great, which is the main reason why I believe salaries are a bit high. Bonus compensation requirements are a bit subjective, so make sure you stay on the everyone’s good side! Regarding the technology, core product is 10+ years in age, and management has no plan to update. Limited career advancement opportunities. You work on a dev team, but on different projects - so, hardly no team collaboration. Finally, you are responsible for your own professional development. If you need the company to teach you how to code, or need the company to help you keep your skills relevant, then ADTRAV is not for you.
