Pros

Good benefits, a growing company.

Cons

Turnover and understaffing were constant. Upper management and HR are terribly deceptive and were constantly doing things unethically. Continually told how profitable the company was each year but never saw any recognition of that in yearly raises and bonuses-below a certain level of management at least. Employees are treated as disposable-they are the type of company that would miss an employees funeral to interview for their replacement.

AFB International and Ensign-Bickford Industries try to accomplish their goals while utlizing their employees with an air of respect.

Cons

Other positions may be fine but working as an Animal Care Technician...if you are considering it, run! The work is hard but that is not the problem here.

Excellent working environment, state Of the art facility. Excellent I.T. Support. Above industry standard salary. Generous benefits. Most all senior management are approachable. Comprehensive training and continuing education for mOst employees, industry related.

Cons

Arbitrary HR Manager, who lacks experience, makes this a very difficult culture. Lots of blame-games going on. Personal opinions vs. Best practice rule here.
