Still operates as a family business, Pay not great

Appearance is important to AG. They claim to care about the overall wellness and mental health of their employees but their practices say otherwise. Internal politics; favouritism, gossip, and egos leave you confused and emotionally exhausted. Below industry pay, little to no growth opportunities. They claim they care about their employees well-being then when it comes to addressing issues they sweep them under the rug and offer a yoga class or salad day instead. If you speak up for yourself and try to address issues in your department you are seen as being difficult. People are promoted to management who lack the interpersonal skills of what being a manager is about. Job morale has a lot to do with the department you are in, some have much more strict procedures/micro management, whereas others are much more lax, which is inconsistent and unfair.
