Pros

Flexible work schedule. The boss does not micro-manage employees which I greatly appreciated. I was never forced to work overtime, and only had to work 2-3 hours on a weekend occasionally for special events. The company is passionate about revitalizing downtown Topeka which is much needed! You feel like you are making a difference in your community by working here.

Cons

Working from home isn’t an option. My replacement’s starting salary was more than mine after a raise, which was frustrating to hear. Management doesn’t seem to have a good work-life balance and I felt judged for never working overtime. Projects were often sprung on the marketing team with not enough time to plan for events.
