Pros

Flexible schedule for students Benefits include $3 bowling games

Cons

-Minimum wage pay -All but forced casual employees to go part time - was impractical for workers like me working about 3-7 hours per week. took a pay cut from $15 to just over $10. Lose a third of my income every week and don't work enough hours to qualify for substantial leave or other part-time benefits. If we didn't change to part time we were basically told we wouldn't get shifts. -Poorly managed at all levels -Workers overworked and underappreciated -Management not interested in listening to workers concerns or feeback

Pros

* Other staff became your friends and if not, family. * Your regular customers (league bowlers) became somewhat like a family too. * You were working in a open environment and learning new things within the industry.

Cons

* Upper Management should really be looking at the ground level of business. * Constant change in Centre/Cafe Management is disappointing. * Implementing pointless policies and procedures makes for being more "careful" on how you do things. * AMF Bowling is now looked at as being just a "business" and not a "bowling alley" * Low maintenance. * Hours get cut ferociously so at times, other non-qualified staff are to go and "fix" any pinsetter issues. * The weekly, last-minute phone call of "can you come in and work today (or tomorrow)" * Cost to even go bowling is far too expensive. (and the company's excuse is to "provide excellent customer service" when the centre has reduced staff working hours!) *

Pros

The only good thing about this place was the free parking it offered for my job. And that had nothing to do with the company.

Cons

Poor Team Managment, Lack of development, constant wage cutting, highest turn over rate ever seen.
