Pros
Most Techs are junior that are very easy to get along with, and have desire to learn and be mentored. Other than that none that I can think of..... No profit sharing, No 401K, terrible health benefits.
Cons
Toxic, Conflict-ridden environment, very low morale, the worst I have ever seen, conflict resolution strategy is to get rid of all those that speak out against the actions of the owner. As mentioned above No profit sharing, No 401K, terrible health benefits. Environment has a culture of bullying causing a revolving door of capable technicians. For a Managed Service Provider, the Tech’s are not given the basic tools to do their job effectively and most are providing personal devices to get the job done. I expected difficult times, it’s the nature of the industry, but I never thought they’d be so bad, so long and so frequent. Tech’s are guided into practices that hinder performance and basic industry standards are ignore all for profit. Many of the employee’s often experience feelings of frustration, anger and the lack of fulfillment. Having to deal with irate clients because of unrealistic promises made by the owner. High turnover rates, management treats employees as easily replaceable.
