APAG is like the WIZARD of OZ: sounded grand, until you peekd behind the curtain to reveal the true puppeteers.
Pros
If you work there, you can pay $20 to get an unlimited gym membership pass.
Cons
They pride themselves on being a "Christian based" company, founded on such beliefs. However, when you get there, the owner (Tom McDermott) will walk past you without speaking, even when spoken to. None of the regional managers knew the payplan, and Tom and his secretary almost got into a quarrel, while trying to explain it to us. APAG is very unsure of how to go about things, as our assignments/focus changed almost bi-weekly. APAG, also burned several bridges with annuity and life agents, who no longer trust the effectiveness and competancies of this company. The LIFE department and the ANNUITY department, are always at odds with eachother, when they should be working together, and people quit all the time here. Many agents call in and feel betrayed, because the head manager of the annuity department makes promises that he doesn't keep, and is usually UNAVAILABLE when they need him. I turned down 3 employment opportunites, because I was led to believe the lies. Hindsight, is definitely 20/20, and I won't be making this mistake again.
