Great people, strange management
Pros
Compassionate people, Serving clients with severe injuries, learning medication administration, great experience and learning opportunities, applied psychological methods and behavioral rehabilitation, helpful teammates, wonderful supervisor house manager, forming close bonds with clients, Rehabilitation experience, safe food preparation experience, housekeeping experience, experience to help those entering rigorous health fields
Cons
Some catty coworkers, more permissiveness to bad house managers since they were men (vs more pressure, criticism, and expectations to great female house managers), upper management ignoring staff's observations about the declining state of a client, allowing violent client to stay despite staff hospitalization and repeated injuries to stay, allowing unqualified and rude people to work with vulnerable clientele, slow annual and sick leave accrual, only provides Cigna health plan
