ARU Response

Recently we invited a new hire to join the Agribusiness Risk Underwriters (ARU) team. After 13 tumultuous business days, ARU was forced to terminate this new hire, for cause. While we genuinely wish this person the best moving forward, we regret his unprofessional behavior during and after the time of his employment with ARU. For those who may be reading the negative review posted above, ARU respectfully requests it be consumed with a few large grains of salt.

Good company to have your voice heard

Pros

Young and growing underwriting company. Upper management is receptive and welcoming to input and collaboration. Opportunity to grow and be challenged professionally. Employee health insurance paid by employer. Ability to work remotely with a great team of people.

Cons

Like all companies, workloads can at times be heavy but management acknowledges this and is genuinely appreciative of hard work. Family portion of health insurance is on the higher side.

Pros

Creativity and challenging convention is not just tolerated by welcomed. Deliberate focus is placed on hiring colleagues dedicated to excellence, open to change, and willing to share. Infectiously positive leadership. Commitment to not just doing it right, but doings what's right, best.

Cons

Nowhere to hide. If you can't deliver every day, (or if you take yourself too seriously) it's probably not a good fit for you.
