Pros

Only pro is if you don't enjoy getting paid.

Cons

- Low payment for engineering team compared to market standard. - Very high turnover, they will either get rid of you or you will quit because of work conditions - Expected to do above and beyond for lack of compensation - Management tree is very lax, aka. Doesn't do anything until it effects their wallets. - You will be blamed for faults of the company if you aren't in management.

A place to work at but not a place to stay.

Pros

-Absolutely zero oversight -Barring emergencies, no on-call work -Relaxed work environment -If you cannot get the help you need through escalation protocols and have no one else to call, the senior most engineer at the company and even the president himself will pick up the phone and give you a help if nobody is available. -A decent place to have as a stepping stone in your career, but not a place to make a career / home at.

Cons

-Some strange mix between zero oversight and micromanagement -No room for growth -High employee turnover rate -Always an increase in responsibility but never any wage increase to reflect the extra duties, roles, or responsibilities the company will press upon you. -Corporate doesn't really care about any office other than their own. -Anytime an increase in pay comes up it will be quickly forgotten or dismissed -A multitude of empty promises for change -Nobody really seems to want to work and will just let things sit -Owners / supervisors have previously forced employees into making glass door reviews while remoting into their computers to watch and make sure they were leaving positive ones to fluff the company rating. -Owners / senior management have been known to silently remote in to employees computers without them knowing and watch to make sure they're working. -Corporate / senior management doesn't seem to really care about the employees.
