Very Poor Management Structure
Pros
They offer college reimbursement and the health insurance is very reasonable. When you start working there you will be drawn in by the "family" type culture that they claim to have, and it can appear to be a great place to work.
Cons
Upper Management is not aware of anything that actually happen on the shop floor. They are unaware of the good workers versus the poor ones, therefore compensation is all over the place and extremely unfair. The employees are aware of this and it makes for a very a unsatisfied work crew. Mid level management is often unqualified for the positions they are responsible for. It is a very political environment, the only way people truly move up in this organization is if they are friends and family of the owners; or are willing to compromise their own values and step on others to advance.
