Pros

The EMTs and paramedics at ATI are great people who are good at their jobs while still finding ways to have fun through the day. We're ultimately people making the best of a bad situation.

Cons

This company doesnt care about their employees or their patients. Most rigs are sent out without exam gloves or cleaning supplies every day...we're instead told to steal these supplies from hospitals. No employees were fitted for n-95s through the whole covid pandemic although we were all seeing covid patients everyday. I also still haven't been tested for covid. These people will treat you like a dumb monkey behind a steering wheel. You'll drive 200+ miles every day with no break just to take people to dialysis appointments. You won't get any real patient care experience, but they pay less than any other job. If you're looking for pce for med/nursing/pa school I'd suggest you keep looking and take a job at Walmart in the meantime to pay your bills

Pros

Coworker are great. Otherwise there is no other pro to this place. They don't know what they are doing. They need people because the door keeps rotating because people quit as soon as they come in.

Cons

They potentially violate Osha laws and labour laws. They will hold you over your off time and make you feel obligated to do so even though its a discharge going home not an emergency. Chris Vandenberg has no clue in what he's doing in my opinion.

Pros

A lot of great coworkers.

Cons

They work you tirelessly without breaks, they give you push back when you try to get food or use the bathroom. Any complaints go in one ear and out the other, it's always your fault and your responsibility to make the situation better. Dispatch and management are best friends, meaning they will always side with dispatch regardless of what happens. Chris Vandenberg is clueless, does shady business practices, and breaks labor laws, looks at profits instead of fully equipping the ambulances. He owns a lake house but brings you mcdonalds coffee when he wants to sit down and talk with you. People are leaving at high rates and not enough people are coming on, too many contracts not enough people to run those calls. Having to do calls for Trace ambulance and Vandenburg ambulance and getting treated terrible compared to those other two companies. When needing to contact management they will take weeks and multiple follow up emails before before respond and attempt to address the email.
