Cons

This company has gone through so many iterations of its name and shifts in focus that it is hard to take it seriously, especially the CEO, who, hides away in his office from the common folk. He does not lead by example. He takes no time to understand anything. He, along with upper management, are quick to name names when something goes wrong, and it frequently does, and will only acknowledge people in general, broad terms when they do something right. When the CEO walks among the troops, he keeps his head lowered so no one below the executive level will talk to him. He will not lead by example and allows a culture of intimidation by Management to pervade. The company changes direction every 4-6 months and clearly there is no long term analysis or evaluation of the steps involved to achieve their new goals. People work long hours and overtime to meet unsustainable deadlines and demands from the top, based on promises made without knowing whether things can be done as promised. Instead, they lose key, hard working people every week and rather than Management improving morale and boosting people's accomplishments, they've incorporated a culture where the employees must recognize each other and boost each other up and it's the employees that must demonstrate that they abide by this culture initiative as a way to justify retaining their job, but this culture drive has created a culture of cliques. The company places too much emphasis on title and who gets an office and who doesn't. HR is unresponsive. IT won't replace old equipment. Tools, the few there are, are outdated and unreliable.
