      Pros

      You will learn a lot, particularly about retail architecture. Small (~8 people), casual atmosphere. Firm offers good benefits and salary - health, 401k, transportation. Good coworkers make a huge difference, and coworkers at the time were (most of them) awesome people.

      Cons

      Similar to the previous review - constant negative feedback does not motivate people to do better, it is toxic. It is unacceptable to be so negative and rude to your employees. Work/life balance is not respected. You will be expected to work late regularly. Also a major pet peeve of mine - management is very rude to service people (UPS, food delivery, bike messengers, etc.). As your mother should have taught you, never trust anyone who is rude to a waiter.

      Pros

      Good opportunities for young professionals. If you’re looking to get involved in all phases of projects when you don’t have a lot of experience, this places offers just that. The pay is decent but the benefits aren’t.

      Cons

      Only hires young people so they don’t have to pay as much. They expect you to put work before everything and they won’t compensate you for it because apparently you’re supposed to be content with the work. The management doesn’t have a lot of experience. They ask for feedback but never actually listen. The turnover is extremely high. During my time there, most people were let go and the others left because of all the issues mentioned here.

      Pros

      You will learn a lot about architectural drafting in Autocad . AZA offers 401K, transportation and partly covered health insurance.

      Cons

      I experience the management as inordinately nice to clients but consistently condescending to coworkers which creates a highly toxic work environment. Work life balance is hard, a lot of overtime is expected but not compensated. Compensation is low compared to amount of work hours and responsibilities. Strict vacation & general office policies. The turnover rate is very high because of reasons mentioned.
