Pros

It’s a technology healthcare company

Cons

The place is run but ruthless micro managers that start their day at 7am and end it at 7pm. They want to do agile but they micro manage you everyday with status requests via chat , email, calls. The emails are often negative and berating. They question your ethic by the second week of employment. They have let the environment go for a long time and they hired people to try to solve and shore it up so they could pass their audits. Place let me go a week before Christmas after I had to take some time for an eye injury. Daily I was getting emails on status for projects that they had no 2023/2024 budget for so it was all filler. The leadership mentions that you are all part of a family, but you see people leaving or let go. In my 4 months I saw many people leave and or let go. The security leaders lack what it takes to run a HIPAA/Hitrust shop. They are technically inept in many ways and have no basic understanding of the environment. Ultimately this place tries to fake it till they make it approach but now that they have to show case their environment is secure and stable they will terrorize those who are put in place to fix everythingy that they lacked doing for the past 4 years.

Pros

Friendly coworkers, latest technology, fun and young culture, i guess, good stepping stone for better opportunities, not so strict about the dress code

Cons

Uncompetitive salaries and compensation and almost no benefits. They do a great sales pitch on your career path and compensation but in the long run you end up getting cheated out of it. Bad leadership, worse communication, long hours and compromise, little recognition. Great at selling themselves as the best, terrible at backing it up.

Bad upper management

Pros

Remote work, thats pretty much it.

Cons

Horrible upper management, the “amazing” culture they pride themselves for is non-existent and its just used as a justification for bad decisions and behavior. Incompetent salaries all over the company due to budget cuts caused by upper management bad decisions. Upper management is also constantly getting salary increases and promotions while the rest of the employees are getting impacted by huge budget cuts that are affecting productivity, if you need a new tool to do your job, you better start begging for it. The amount of meetings and planning in order to execute a small tasks is overwhelming and will very often stay there because management is too “busy” to even approve what they requested. You can never say no to the client on anything and upper management will set unrealistic expectations just to please a client. The calibration process to determine employee performance is horrible and inaccurate. They also don’t care about supporting you with continuous education. Only a few friends of upper management will get more benefits than others.
