Substandard management, no leadership, serious capability issues and that's with the management to start with! Departmental bullying, ignorance of this which leads to extreme escalation of situations. This is despite failings being flagged to line managers and HR on numerous occasions. No continued training opportunities for support staff, staffing levels now at a critical point where both staff and students are being put at risk and an attitude of the upper echelon management structure which shows that they neither have interest in this or are just being extremely ignorant. A prime case of too many chiefs and not enough indians. The worst place and employer that I have EVER worked for.

Shambolic place to work and as many others state workplace bullying is endemic. No plan, no communication, ineffectual mid managers. Detached and delusional senior managers. Annoyingly Obsessed with massaging position in league tables and student surveys without making any genuine change. New management system failing on multiple levels. Schools are all in decline, simply not competitive, including alleged flagship ones like Games. A 'department' that don't teach making decisions about teaching practice. Student Association in the pocket of senior management. As stated elsewhere HR is a joke. Unprofessional and incompetent at dealing with the simplest requests. Unions don't support staff but reps use it to safeguard own positions.
