Pros

The only pros is the bond you will create with the clients that attend the day hab center. Oh and your lucky if you get a $25 amazon gift card as your holiday bonus.

Cons

The company as a whole will not continue to survive if the current CEO is still employed at AC. Over sixty employees have left AC, since the CEO has started working less than two years ago. It’s unfortunate the Board put an incompetent/unqualified person in the CEO position. This man is such a shady human being! The board clearly does not care about the drastic damage he continues to cause the company. The Board has been made aware of many issues, but they continue to sweep things under the rug. Unfortunately, he has removed the HR position, which leaves you with no one to go to. If you speak up, you will be let go/fired! What kind of company does not have an HR? The last HR employee was fired by the CEO out of retaliation because of a disciplinary action that was given to his recent employed girlfriend. All of upper management are his little puppets and do not stand up for how employees are being treated. It’s sad the clients are the ones who truly suffer from all of this crazy mess. Upper management and CEO do not truly care for the clients. It’s all for show and money. It’s sad the people with a true passion and love for the clients had to leave because of how unethical/hostile working environment that has been created.

Pros

Except for the clients and tenured employees, there are NO Pros. The agency is being run by an egotistical individual who is ONLY interested in making a name for himself. And the BOD is allowing him to run the agency, which was established 65 years ago, into the ground. The CEO is NOT a man of faith ... he is a negative influence and ONLY concerned about himself and the continuing the affair with his 'employed' lady!

Cons

The BOD is supposed to be the fiduciary control of the agency; however, they are allowing the self-serving CEO run the show and believe the rederic he feeds them. The CEO has NO required degree for the position and stated in his job description, and he continues to smooth talk his way out of all situations. The CEO and the current BOD will be the death of the agency!

Pros

The only redeeming part of the organization is the clients, and the select staff that actually cares about the clients.

Cons

That being said, this is a hostile work environment where the management team works more like an all boys club rather that hang together and talk about their huge egos than get work done. The organization main problem is the nonexistent board members that are more interested in have this a as a resume filler to make themselves look good in front of society and don’t r want to be involved in any aspect of the organization. In fact you will find they FORGET THAT THIS ORGANIZATION IS FOR THE CILENTS AND NOT THEMSELVES and are willing to turn a nose to not deal with the problem. The CEO is a MAJOR problem he believes he can do no wrong and will place all the blame on everyone. The CEO is partnered by goons that will justify the inappropriate and unprofessional events to the staff, they have no ideas where their moral compass lies and they will be cutthroat in saving themselves. The CEO has no clue what he is doing and believes that yelling at employees and being over controlling is the right kind of management. He believes make people feel like their replaceable and uncomfortable to create a competitive environment is best for employees. He lacks leadership qualities to suit the title president of the organization. Diversity is a huge issue here: if you are of any race or even a women be prepared for a lower wages and no representation this also extends to the clients in the org. The lack of women clients in the community is disheartening and they tend to have no activities they can be a part of. The CEO believes in only having one person of diversity counts as being diverse. If you are a sexist and a brownnose this will be the perfect place for you. A better example of this organization it’s like comparing Target to the clearance bins at the Dollar Store; it’s cheaper and the only things left are already broken, and used. If you complain expect to be fired. Do not expect to make a livable wage because that is something not everyone” deserves “. In short do not apply it is not worth it, this organization is in the steps of failure since nothing has been don’t to correct the issues that are so obvious to the Board.
