Pros

I learned a lot about freight forwarding.

Cons

-a lot of favoritism -asking for time off is frowned upon so people tend to call off more than they should -they expect you to work 10 to 12 hours 5-6 days a week -you can't trust the hr manager -the so called manager starts drama between employees and turns them against each other -no appreciation for your hard work, no bonuses, no raises so you're stuck at the amount you're hired with unless you are on "favorites" list -the owner is oblivious of all the drama ***if you have a choice, do not work here***

Pros

Highest paying perishable freight forwarder near lax

Cons

It doesn’t matter how many years you have worked here because you will still be treated like a new employee. There is no job security. You can be fired even after being loyal to the company for many years.

Pros

It's fun at first, all of the low level employees in the warehouse and bubble tend to be laid back and are always goofing around with eachother.

Cons

Upper management is toxic. You will get a couple supervisors that are actually hardworking and fair but most are on some power trip. There's constant drama between shifts, between the 104th warehouse and 102nd warehouse, between managers and operations. This place runs on favoritism and HR is a joke, won't do anything about all the issues of abuse of power or sexual/racial harrassment. You're forced to work overtime and 6 days a week during the busy season, you can't call in sick because they won't pay you sick pay, if you call off you will get in trouble unless you're someone's favorite. The pay is low for everyone except drivers and operations (office). Graveyard is the hardest shift, it has the heaviest workload but at least no one is in the offices constantly watching the hundreds of cameras. Day shift is the second busiest and they are watched like a hawk. Swing shift is the easiest shift, usually there is not much to do.
