Pros

- Fully remote working. - Early finish Fridays once a month.

Cons

- Management seemed far more focused on admin processes than actual marketing performance. Missing notes in one of several systems could lead to being heavily criticised, even when client work was completed well. - The role often felt more like account administration and client management than digital marketing. A huge amount of time was spent on admin, reporting, and handling unhappy clients, leaving little room for meaningful strategic work. - Strategy review meetings could feel unnecessarily negative and were sometimes led by people with little practical marketing experience. - Career progression felt inconsistent. I was told I needed larger accounts to progress to a senior position, but those opportunities were repeatedly given elsewhere despite me having relevant experience. - Annual salary reviews were promised but had to be chased. I was told there was no budget for even a modest pay rise while workloads and client numbers continued increasing. - Concerns raised about workload or processes were often dismissed with comments about improving admin instead. - Work-life balance became difficult. I regularly worked very long days to keep clients happy, and the effort only seemed recognised after I handed in my notice. I personally wouldn’t return.

Fast paced, loads going on, and really positive business direction

Pros

It is a really exciting time to be part of the agency. We have lots going on, a positive business direction, and plenty of improvements around how we structure and organise the business. All agencies are fast-paced (that is just the way of the world) but what is really important is that you absolutely have a really good, supportive network of people that you can rely on and get help from when challenges do come up. The diversity of our clients is really nice, and we have some brilliant people that we are working with who truly feel like a partner of the agency. We also produce brilliant work and have picked up so many awards already in 2026 and the years before, which is a real testament to the quality we have in the team. An often unspoken perk is an early finish on the last Friday of every month too, which makes the weekend feel like a bank holiday! It's a nice way to end every month because we all work really hard, so it's great to be able to have a little bit of time off for a longer weekend.

Cons

Extra time for training and development is always something that's difficult for any agency, so I'd love to see more time carved out for that. As a remote agency, it would also be good to have some more touchpoints for the team to come together. We started doing that more recently, and there is also a desire to have more in-person client meetings too. This has already started to happen, but we would just love to see this keep evolving in 2026.
