Pros

Uncapped targets and commissions. I'd never worked in staffing and was recommended to try recruiting by a friend who worked through a staffing company. Definitely didn't expect this. The company is very focused on highly skilled candidates being matched to the right position, whereas some other agencies focus on quantity - Absolute definitely focuses on quality. The sales training is also something very different, something you can pretty much use in your everyday life. I know the sales training is expensive, and it is totally covered by the company. It got me better at the job, and has helped me in my career since I unfortunately had to depart Florida. I had enough money put aside from working here that it took a chunk off my move home, and is still helping me since the Absolute people had smart investment advice for me when I asked about what they did with their commissions.

Cons

I only left because I had to return to the West Coast for family reasons. I was sold though, These guys are amazing. Everybody has a role in the fabric of this company's success. The CEO and COO are energetic and keep everybody going full speed at all times. They encourage personal and professional growth, and taught me a lot of stuff that I still refer to. There are very genuine and fun loving managers here who support the team and take however much time it takes to make sure we understood our customers, they've got guitars in the office, a celebration room with confetti cannons, they sing and dance around its really a different experience altogether LOL. If you're tired of corporate, bland, complaining offices and want to go into work every day and really get after it and be in control of your earnings, then this is a great place to be. If you're lazy then work elsewhere.
