      A start-up family

      Pros

      Fast-paced environment that allows you to try many different things, take on responsibility, and learn new skills. The staff are some of the funnest and welcoming people I've ever met. We are always stressed but we are a family!

      Cons

      Political pressures, state politics, government bureaucracy. No merit-based recognition or pay increases, this has angered a lot of staff recently because we were promised increases for the last year.

      This company is very promising at first. Benefits are awesome! Generally laid back compared to other corporate companies.

      Cons

      So much drama. Very political, and minimal growth. If a job is posted, chances are it is posted for someone in particular. No others will be considered. Otherwise, if a job is posted without a person in mind, they will choose the person with the least experience. Salaries are lower than the market.
