Deceptive. Most positive reviews are written by HR Manager.

Pros

Met some genuinely kind people.

Cons

Very, very deceptive. Will lie to you about wages, opportunities for growth, etc. etc. just to rope you in. Pay is extremely low (for ALL positions), work load is extremely high, and there is absolutely no room for growth.

I am the HR Manager and I assure you that I have never written a review. I am sorry that you had a bad experience at Access. Our company, that has been awarded one of the best companies in NY to work for 5 times, strives very had to make all staff love coming to work. Each new staff receives an offer letter before they agree to come on board that spells out compensation and any bonus structure. In the 5 years that I have worked for Access, we have grown from 12 clinics to 40. I have seen many staff grow with the company, moving from entry level positions to directors and/or regional directors. We look for and develop staff who have talent and passion for providing excellent care to our patients.

Pros

Great team atmosphere, PT owned practice, bonus incentives, management is approachable and caring about their employees. When I was first hired the owner called me to wish me a good first day and HR manager followed up with me that week to make sure I wasn't having any problems or had any questions.

Cons

None that I can think of at this time.

Pros

Not a "mill" atmosphere, continuing ed opportunities within the company, team environment

Cons

Very low/non-competitive salary: your pay is based off payor mix and patient compliance (so if a patient cancels, it counts against your pay). Make sure you completely understand the ins and outs of the "bonus" structure (which is not actually a bonus; they give you a low base pay and use the top tier of what you can POTENTIALLY make to calculate your salary. So you'll probably make well under market value in the end after patients cancel and your payor mix...something you can't control...is taken into account). They offer very little money for continuing ed courses outside those held by the company. Too much reliance on MDs as a referral source.
