Pros

The company offers many opportunities for professional growth such as trainings and through one on one trainings with supervisors. The company also offers generous paid time off benefits and pays higher than its competitors. Employees are treated well overall by the company. Upper management is competent and caring. The company as a whole is a wonderful company and very innovative.

Cons

Not enough diversity at higher levels. Supervisors have a condescending tone. Sometimes it feels as if lower level employee is against immediate supervisor ( every body is covering their own butts but have little regard for employee as a person). This field is stressful but expressing that can be used against you. If you believe you have been injured on the job it seems as if they try to make you say you could have gotten injured somewhere else so they would not have to pay worker's comp. Sometimes it feels like mistakes "mark you for death" in an environment where there are budget cuts and no lay offs. I don't think this is typical of the entire company and it most definitely is not the philosophy of the company to treat people this way.

Pros

Wonderful entry level position. You will get experience in the field and exposure to a wide range of mental health disorders. Great for out of college experience.

Cons

This job is not meant for those starting a familybor as a career. The salary does not match the cost of living, you will work more than 40 hours in a work week and there is a lot of paperwork. The company hides behind "flex scheduling " but realistically you will work almost 50 hours a week and will not be compensated for it.
