Pros

Very easy going work environment. They provide lunch each Tuesday and the offices are bright, modern, and set up to be collaborative. Coffee is provided as are snacks and drinks. There are a lot of bright people and most of the teams are kind and welcoming.

Cons

Executive leadership has one way thinking and unwilling to try new methods. Their executive team lacks diversity and out of the box thinking - which is lead by their CEO who has a dictatorial viewpoint. There are not clearly defined goals from the top down so direction setting is hard. Directions change from week to week which makes change feel driven based on emotional reactions rather than proactive planning. Being small, there is no room for growth. The company has a façade of caring for the employee with "free lunches" but is unwilling to have a real conversation about pay raises, bonuses, or problem solving in general. The company lacks any type of diversity and inclusion strategy. Bullying is tolerated from all levels including management. HR has openly stated there are employees who cannot be terminated due to their relationship with the owner/founder. Actions such as throwing chairs, harassing employees, and not completing work/passing off work are accepted with no repercussions. The culture does not facilitate an open door policy and I personally felt victimized by my direct supervisor but did not feel comfortable continuing to report actions as no actions were actually taken to correct the managers actions. For a tech company they are very old-school thinking not offering hybrid or remote opportunities. Policies put in place by HR are no enforced equally across the organization. If you're part of the good ole boys club you'll do well here.

Pros

Amazing software. Great coworkers and location downtown.

Cons

This is a boiler room setting. You literally cold call all day long. They tell you to dial for dollars. This company is owned by a storm chaser in the roofing industry. From the get go they are cons.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your time at AccuLynx. I'm sorry you didn't have a great experience during your time here, however we appreciate and value your feedback. It’s true that working in sales isn’t for everyone. While our rapidly growing business is indeed fast-paced, maintaining the amazing culture we’ve built over the past 10 years is a top priority for us. We take pride in being a collaborative, transparent and innovative organization where employees see the impact of their contributions and feel motivated by the work that we do. In sales, we’ve seen first-hand the positive impact team building activities and continuing education has played in our employees’ development and success. Sending team members to local training events to help them really feel like they're continuing to develop in their careers is just one of the ways we are working hard to maintain a great culture. Thanks again for taking the time to leave this review and we wish you the best in your career.

Pros

Snacks, PTO, co-workers, You get a new laptop every few years

Cons

Very much a golden handcuff situation. You have a director or product who can't even run a design sprint without losing his temper and screaming at people. His only focus is appeasing the CEO and yelling at anyone else who does not agree with him, he decides he doesn't like, or happens to be employed as a PM. A director of tech who is unwilling to stand up for his department and if he does not like you will go out of his way to may your day more difficult, make you the butt of the joke, and point out your flaws. I watched another Dev take ridicule like this for years. Raises were constantly scheduled back, have no structure, and are rare. With new hires making considerably more than those who put years into the company. Reviews were based on "feel" and unsupported by any metrics. Nothing like hearing we had record profit weeks after learning they won't be giving raises. The company was great but too many middle men were added to only be what seems like an ego boost for the CEO. That rather than contribute to the culture they actively make it toxic and bog things down with meetings so they can try to prove their worth. If you play office politics well, you'll do great here. If not, try to fly under the radar as much as possible or you will be dragged down, over worked, and blamed for managements short comings. Long days and nights are expected because if you don't then your not a real team player, working until 1-2 a.m. a few days at the end of a sprint was common in order to stay on schedule.
