It's a boys club...

Pros

Good experience and a lot of good people that work there, but a few really bad people that make it an unpleasant environment. If you're in the "boys club" you'll do just fine!

Cons

Unfair pay and treatment if you're a woman.

We are pleased to see you listed working for Accurate Group as good experience and that during the five years you were employed in our Charlotte office, you worked with good people. Feedback is always appreciated, however, your comments are not factually correct. Our Charlotte office is currently managed under strong female leadership. Accurate Group is very proud to employ a diverse, qualified staff of real estate industry professionals. Our employee turnover rate is below industry average, we offer competitive benefits, a professional work environment and we regularly review and adjust pay and benefit levels to stay competitive in the market compared to similar size employers in our industry.

Pros

Business casual (jeans/t-shirt). Typical entry level position. Offer benefits, PTO, sick/personal, 401k. Opportunity to learn the real estate transaction process.

Cons

No real corporate structure which means positions can be created and then done away with per manager discretion. 7 paid holidays, 3 sick days, 2 personal, 3.33 hours of PTO accrued each pay period. Zero appreciation or acknowledgement for individuals with a college degree. Benefits range from $125 (single individual) to over $500 (individual, spouse, children) per pay period. No yearly bonus, 5% 401k contribution. Average compensation is lower than market standards. Promotions from within are complicated and eventually lead to the hiring manager looking externally because of the politics involved in giving a current employee a chance. Used to be a great opportunity for individuals needing flexibility in their work schedule, e.g., college students, single mothers/fathers. Unpaid time off isn’t an option anymore. No efforts put forth to create a sense of community between departments. Be expected to be told how well the company is doing from a fiscal standpoint, but never expect to see that reflected in your pay. Raises are calculated off a merit based system which consists of the employee submitting a chart detailing why they deserve a raise, then the manager cherry picks some of that info to be sent to HR. HR then claims to review and read every employees chart and makes a decision on granting a raise between 1 and 3 percent. If you were promoted during the year, expect to not be compensated for the extra work you did because raises are completed first quarter for all employees. No real effort put forth to hold onto committed and loyal employees (replaceable). Expect employees to work from home if there is extreme weather or the server goes down, but do not provide a laptop or computer for the employee. If you are unable to work from home, or, you would rather not risk your life driving to the office, they kindly use your PTO to cover that day.

Pros

Finally remote thanks to a pandemic

Cons

Passive aggressive management Obsession to control everything you do No growth or reward ‘Thank yous’ always come with strings attached “thanks for all the work you do, but you should really do more work, your co workers work, and do it better and faster! 😃” Raises & 401k are a joke No one likes each other 😂

Thank you for your response. We find it disheartening you feel the company is not doing enough. At this unprecedented time when other organizations are laying off employees or closing their doors, we have done everything we can to keep our employees safe and working. We were pleased to see working remotely was listed as a Pro in your review. Our ability to quickly move employees to a remote work environment was key in avoiding disruptions to our operations, giving Accurate Group the ability to keep staff safe and employed. Working remotely does have its challenges such as keeping employees engaged. While some people enjoy their manager and co-workers reaching out, others may view it as micromanaging. Even though this past year was certainly a challenge for us all, we awarded merit increases as well as a profit sharing distribution, acknowledging the hard work and accomplishments of our employees. And despite the difficulties of 2020, our employees showed that they were willing to grow and achieve more with the company resulting in 15 promotions leading to new team lead and management roles. We’re all in this together to keep everyone safe and successful.
