Pros
With enough students it can be good money, and you can work other jobs. Provided me with a uniform and textbooks.
Cons
Communication with the family is heavily dependent on the tutor, but we have to have our phone numbers privated, so the families often don't pick up the calls (in my experience). No work phone was provided. Most of the students were in Perth or North Perth, which was too far for me transport wise to make taking on the students worth while. Replying via email to tutor requests was sometimes slow.
