If you are not Taiwanese or Chinese. Forget about advancing. If you are of Asian decent, you are hired immediately as a permanent employee, If you are anyone else you are a temp, for years. I think this is illegal? There is so much disorganization the GM has assistants who have assistants. It is so top heavy with people who have no idea how to run a business. Then the Corporate folks come from Asia and the know less. All they do is preach profit, profit, profit. When the Americans know how to get those profits, they don't want to hear it. They almost feel threatened that Americans know more then they do. As long as the corporate offices in Asia hold them down, they continue to stagnate and slide. Evidence of the NON American leadership style. Just look at the history of American managers that came and left or resigned.
