Pros

None at all. See below.

Cons

Company calculative. OT is not paid. Pay is deducted if target is not met. $50 healthcare benefit every month. Core values are not practiced as consultants are being shouted at (one of the core values is respect) .

Achieve Group Response

We want to thank you for our feedback. We respect your experience and perspective. However, we want to highlight a few pointers objectively. All our Recruitment Consulting Managers at Achieve Group are remunerated with competitive-market salaries coupled with a performance-based commission package of more than 1/3 of the clients’ billing upon reaching their set goals and targets. Anyone who had worked in the company know of many of our top performing Consulting Managers over the years have had grossed more than S$200K annually. Literally, the SKY is the limit for our Consulting Managers! As a long-standing HR Consulting Firm, we pride ourselves to be a company who upholds our HR practices with strict compliance to MOM's guidelines. We exercise transparency and our Terms of Employment are communicated clearly during signing of Employment Contract and reiterated again during orientation to ensure our people are aware of their entitlements and benefits of employment. Like any company, every member is to be accountable for his performance in the organization. Unlike some of our competitors whose package includes a perpetual pay cut scheme, our salary deduction challenge is formulated with the key objective to safe guard continual employment and promote better performance. Therefore, the salary deduction policy is only executed after many months of below-the-line performance of the Consulting Manager. On top of that, had the Consulting Manager able to meet the minimum expectations of that deducting quarter, all deducted amounts are back paid with the corresponding incentives! In fact, Consulting Managers who gone through the salary deduction challenge endorsed it as a humane and a better option then being let go from the company without an opportunity to turn around their performance. The management always want to be considerate in our approach as we are all human and will experience ups and downs in our career journey. Thus, all policies are conscientiously formulated and deliberated and not ruthlessly executed. Interestingly, this policy has been in place for more than 6 years and has a number of top billers, who were once put on the challenge emerging as the top 5% of the cohort in the following quarters. The company is both glad and comforted of their subsequent achievements. As for the misbehaviour of shouting, we apologies if such hiccups and misalignment did occur. No justification, but the leaders in the company are still human after all. However, any misconduct within the company will be brought to task, facing consequences just like the accountability for the sales performance mentioned earlier. We believe in respecting others, and yet also giving everyone a second chance. The management feels saddened that you could not feel the warmth, cohesiveness and passion in your stay to mention that there is nothing good about Achieve Group. By virtue of external assessing standards, our company won multiple awards along these years, a continually ISO certified organization, our CEO being featured in events & multimedia and, Achieve Group currently being earmarked by Enterprise Singapore to be one of the selected SMEs for high growth potential. Does not all these speak of who we are as an organization? We are definitely not a perfect company, but we are surely endeavouring to be a better firm. Anyone could check with practitioners in HR, talent acquisition industry the reputation of Achieve Group, exactly how we conduct our business over these many years, and how we treat people. We believe we had stood the test of time to be celebrating our 29th anniversary this August 2019.

Pros

>this comment is not to attack anyone, but to raise the opportunity for better improvement >being an ex-staff, it is obvious the few doubtful "good" comments are not given by an ex-staff, but rather by the manager himself to mitigate to situation. almost all staff can agree he is not a good leader >the whole idea for such negative review is for the management and manager to reflect upon, instead of retaliate with self boasting and justification >there is always 2 sides of the coin, not always the manager is doing the right thing >to make some sense here, if the manager is a good leader, there will not be high turn over for such small team. if he is a good leader, he will have a team of capable followers who wanting to work under him. but unfortunately, the fact is there is none. >do a quick check or reference on LinkedIn for ex staff, you can see the short duration of employment with him

Cons

>not going to repeat what has been said
