Pros
If you are looking to get into sales as a young professional this was a great place to start. Management will get you up and running with no prior experience. There is a culture of "get your job done" without being micromanaged. This may be a pro or con depending on your personality. There are weekly and monthly reviews that address your metrics. These give you one-on-one time to discuss anything work related, not just how you are doing. But remember, no excuses for not doing your job. That being said this is a "start up". There is a risk reward at play here. Not every software company is worth a billion dollars in a couple of years. That being said, when I left the top performer was shooting towards $70k base+commission. Also, right before I left they landed a major corporation with sales revenue shooting towards half a mil, sounds like they're doing well to me. Plus there is a ping pong table. I consistently beat everyone there. Maybe...
Cons
It's an entry level sales job. You will be cold calling, prospecting, and creating email campaigns. You will get shut down and it will suck. But you have to power through. There is opportunity for growth but not immediately. Again, it is that risk/reward where you have to put in more than the usual amount of time if you want to reap the benefits.
