Disappointment!

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Senior male and female managers exhibit a highly toxic demeanour, consistently engaging in bullying tactics and actively undermining the confidence of their subordinates. Regrettably, the CEO and Founder are well aware of the unsavoury conduct displayed by these senior employees. However, they choose to disregard their toxic behaviour due to the substantial financial contributions they bring to the company. Furthermore, they employ a cunning strategy to feign ignorance, attempting to conceal their involvement in the situation. To maintain a façade, they rely on the guidance of a public relations team. These individuals display a complete disregard for sustainability, instead capitalizing on market opportunities solely for their personal enrichment. Their mantra revolves around deceit and manipulation, shamelessly placing candidates in roles that provide no fulfilment, all in the name of securing placements. They arrogantly label themselves as "consultants," yet their true nature aligns more closely with the stereotypical, profit-driven recruiters commonly encountered in the sales industry.

Hello, Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. In the employee engagement survey that over 80% of our colleagues completed earlier this year, we were pleased to hear that 84% of our team strongly agreed or agreed that they felt like a valued member of their team, and 96% felt that the work they did at Acre was meaningful to them. 94% would recommend working at Acre to a friend, and our average employee happiness score was 4 out of 5. We’re sorry to hear that your experience of working at Acre doesn’t reflect the experiences of the broader team. We are very proud of our culture and the work we do with our clients to drive impact, so we take your comments seriously. In line with our values, we’d like to stand up, show we care and achieve more together, so we’d like to explore your feedback. If you’re open to a confidential conversation, please get in touch with Andy or Richard directly, or arrange an exit interview with the HR team if you prefer. Best of luck in your new adventure, All of us at Acre

Pros

Used to be fun and had a great culture. People were friendly and really cared. Good brand and had lots of inbound work.

Cons

Terribly mismanaged. CEO should’ve left a long time ago. Incompetent people, right up to the very top, left to run riot and never dealt with.

Thank you for your honest feedback, and we’re sorry that this was your experience. The recruitment industry has undergone a great deal of economic difficulty and uncertainty over the past two years. Unfortunately, Acre hasn’t been immune to this. Through these challenges, while we’ve remained proud of our culture and the work we do to drive impact, we acknowledge that we haven’t always got everything right. Now and as we move forward, our greatest priority is that we set our people and our business up for success, uphold our values, and ensure that we make decisions with integrity. If you would be open to a confidential discussion, please do reach out to Andy, Richard, or James. Thank you, The Acre Team
