Pros

Some good people still fighting the good fight

Cons

Benefits being temporarily paused and some teams having payroll delays. Morale is through the floor and it’s tragic to see a once great company falter

Thank you for sharing this perspective. You’re right that this has been a challenging period. Decisions made to support the long-term health of the business have not been without impact, and it’s clear from your review that recent changes have had a meaningful impact on your experience. Thank you as well for recognizing the people at Acuity. The care, commitment, and support colleagues show one another continues to be one of Acuity’s greatest strengths, especially when things aren’t easy. The focus right now is on navigating these challenges responsibly, creating greater stability for the future, and continuing to deliver on the mission that brings so many people here in the first place. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience. - Tine Haugen (Senior Manager, Talent), on behalf of Acuity Insights

Pros

There are extremely dedicated and caring people in this company. Many of them are long term employees, depending on the area of the business. They are all ready and happy to help. Additional perks include an education stipend, and an appreciation culture that translates into meaningful rewards.

Cons

We are at an inflection point, and that means tons of change is on the way. For a couple of years the execution of vision has been rocky, but now there is leadership commitment to a product delivery plan. This will mean more changes, and hopefully more predictability. While this should be a pro, I listed this as a con mainly because change can be painful and we are at an inflection point. Results can swing us either up or down. If you can weather change, and roll with uncertainty while keeping your chin up, then this should be no problem!

Thank you for sharing this, especially as someone experiencing the company from the inside. There’s a lot here that resonates. The strength of Acuity has always been its people. The care, commitment, and willingness to support each other is real, and it’s what carries us through periods of both stability and change. You’re also right that we’re at an inflection point. The past couple of years haven’t been linear, and at times, execution hasn’t matched our ambition. That’s what’s now driving a stronger focus on product delivery, clearer direction, and more consistent ways of working together. Change can be challenging. At the same time, this moment is about building something more durable, with greater clarity and stronger accountability across the organization, including leadership. Thank you for your honesty, your perspective, and the role you play in shaping where we go next. - Tine Haugen (Senior Manager, Talent), on behalf of the Acuity Insights team

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It sounds like a frustrating situation, and we appreciate you speaking up. For context for those reading, the practices described here don’t reflect how we operate at Acuity Insights. We don’t use dialer-based tracking or structure compensation in that way, and we’re committed to fair, transparent approaches to how people are supported and paid. If this feedback was intended for another organization with a similar name, we hope it reaches the right place. - Tine Haugen (Senior Manager, Talent) on behalf of the Acuity Insights Team
