Pros

a great product with a lot of opportunity.

Cons

Hired a VP of Sales who told management he could bring 2 people from his previous team for what it cost to employ me. after I took a role as the very first outbound rep for the organization and single-handedly sourced 38 of the first 100 customers. 3 months after they terminated my employment to appease the new VP, he was no longer with the company. I was fired for nothing. I gave everything I had to AcuityMD, and return it cost me nearly everything.

Pros

Fully remote Lots of autonomy Many people are great to work with

Cons

1. Some eng managers do a lot of CYA to make themselves look good and treat you in a nasty way, placing blame on you for their own mistakes. I've seen several people snapped at for no good reason by this person. 2. Don't pay a lot but expect you to work 24/7. 3. There is a really nasty founder who is a pain to deal with. He is unavoidable if you are in eng or product. Most people detest working with him and constantly complain about him but nothing is done about it. He treats staff very poorly and constantly puts them down.

Pros

Promising company Growth Talent internally

Cons

The management team promotes people who don’t actually create impactful work- they promote people who make work harder for the others. I’m not sure why this is their strategy. Management overlooks Star performers and promotes people who look like them. Bad morale with devs bc incompetence seems to be rewarded. Devs who don’t make impact on customer experience are rewarded. You’re paying a lot of engineer dudes to mess around and their stuff never gets used.
