Pros

Good coworkers, flexible environment, understanding management, decent benefits, lots of opportunities to earn extra vacation days.

Cons

Starting wages suck and the salaries are below industry standard. Annual raises are capped at 3% which is abysmal. You won't make a lot of money here, but you will have stability in other ways

Pros

Adafruit offers benefits and steady work. They work hard not to be evil, and it does feel good to work for a company with good values.

Cons

Adafruit is a small company, which makes it difficult for them to fulfill the promises they want to make to their employees. They want to offer everyone career growth, but there's no where to go. Pay has stagnated at a rate that was livable when the company started. I understand that things are tight for management, but it becomes harder to handle every year
