Worst job I've ever had

Pros

I only worked for Adam for 2 days and was unable to find anything positive about the office, the environment or the people at all. It is very rare that I am unable to find at least one positive thing but, at Kutners, there is nothing at all.

Cons

Where to start.... First and foremost, Adam is the most disrespectful, egotistical, paranoid and rude human being I have ever met in all my life. The tantrums he throws are unnecessary and outrageous yet seem designed as a way for him to keep his employees on their toes and fearful of termination. He yells out "help" and has an assistant that runs to his aid for even the most minute matter. He talks down to everyone but demands the utmost respect. That's not something I personally can provide. Second: management in his office are so stressed out that they yell at everyone. They treat their associates like trash. My assumption is they do that because it is expected of them but it's really very sad. There are a lot of very young people that work in that office.... I don't think they know that there is so much better out there. I wish I could've told them all to run from there and never look back. Third: at the end of each day, each manager has to present their day/productivity to Adam. This is when he throws the most tantrums. This is also what keeps most managers at the office way past the end of their shift. The first day I worked there I worked from 830 am - 8pm. The hours are ridiculous an unrealistic but they are expected. Adam also does not put any money into his employees. There is no real lunch room, no fridge and I never saw one person leave for lunch. He desks are at least 20 years old and falling apart. He also doesn't trust computers so there are paper files all over the place. The office is a hazard.

Pros

I learned how to multitask at an extreme level.

Cons

The firm is an unethically run mill for money. There is no client care unless your file is somewhat guaranteed to bring in over $10,000. The goal is to get clients signed up, even if there is no case. There are non-attorneys performing attorney tasks, such as high-level negotiations. The turnover is so high because he does not want to pay for benefits to keep quality employees. The main attorney has temper tantrums to the point where he screams (despite clients being in office) and physically throws/slams items on his desk. He refuses to meet with clients personally, and if he runs into a client in the hall, he very audibly scoffs while walking away. It is sad to see this kind of law firm.
