Not worth my time

Pros

There are some friendly co-workers who are willing to answer questions and offer help. Time is flexible. Some people can go complete a masters degree and remote working on the days of school, but still considered full time employee.

Cons

Management team is corrupted, unhelpful, and ignorant. Bad decisions are made by the management team that leads to the unbelievable high turnover rate! The company lost 5 people in 5 months and they were all from the same team!!! Politics is the core to the judgement of the management team. There is no raise. Someone asked for a raise and got fired the very next day. There is no moving up, unless you are great at playing politics in a company. The culture of this company is not to give compliments to employees' accomplishments, but to give endless complains and blames to your mistakes. The company doesn't expect you to have a work/life balance. The management team does not have a clue for what to do with your workload if you are sick or have an emergency. Even though this is a multicultural company, some people/cultures have very little respect to women, children, and different believes and religions.

Pros

Great to meet people from all around the world and share different cultures. Learned a lot when it comes to the localization business. Able to come in and leave whenever one wants.

Cons

Management is not really helpful. I learned a lot, but pretty much had no training, Good that my coworkers were here to answer to my questions. Some people are hired directly with a permanent position for no specific reason, whereas some others have been there for a long time and still not considered worthy enough to have ANY type of benefits. Let's not even talk about a raise, or people will laugh in your face... Long hours, lot of work, not really rewarded, or acknowledged for all the hard work done, while some coworkers with a permanent position do not even work their 40 hours/week. When some employees are being fired, it seems like all the effort they put in this company is not worth anything; from one day to another, you could be a great asset for the company to the guy who is getting fired.

Pros

Adams has a global feel to it, as most employees are from other countries. It is a decent place to learn the ropes of localization and translation. Benefits are okay.

Cons

Communication from management to employees is lacking. Mid-level management is filled with incompetence. There is zero opportunity for advancement. Compensation is low. Parent company is in a lawsuit.
