⭐ 1 out of 5 — Stressful Environment, Unclear Policies, and Unfair Exit Process Title: Difficult experience — employees should be cautious before joining Overall: I worked at Adapt Ready hoping for a learning opportunity in a small, innovative company, but the experience turned out to be very stressful and disappointing. The culture, management practices, and handling of employees during and after resignation need serious improvement. Pros: The salary offered is relatively good for a small organization. Because the team is small, you can gain exposure to multiple tools and roles. A few teammates genuinely try to help one another. Cons: Toxic leadership environment: The culture often feels fear-based rather than supportive. Feedback is not encouraged, and even small concerns are sometimes taken personally by management. Lack of structure: There are no defined roles, processes, or HR policies. Employees often have to figure out everything on their own. Unclear handling of sensitive situations: At one point, an HR colleague who was trying to bring structure was suddenly removed without a clear explanation. It left many of us feeling uneasy about how quickly decisions can be made without transparency. Post-resignation behavior: After resigning, communication changed drastically. I personally faced delays and a lack of cooperation in receiving basic documentation. It made the transition to my next job unnecessarily difficult. Experience and relieving letters: In my case, these were delayed and not handled professionally. Anyone planning to leave should be prepared for a challenging process when requesting exit paperwork. Blame culture: When issues arise, the default reaction is to find someone to hold responsible instead of improving systems or workflows. It creates anxiety among staff. No HR grievance system: There’s no neutral place to raise concerns, which leaves employees feeling unheard and unprotected. High turnover: Many colleagues left within short spans of time, which constantly disrupted projects and morale. Low transparency: Major company or project decisions are often made behind closed doors, with little explanation. Mental fatigue: The environment can be emotionally draining due to constant uncertainty and lack of appreciation.
