Pros
Working at Adapting Social has been one of the most positive experiences of my career. From the recruitment process to onboarding and daily work life, everything has felt intentional and people-centered. The interview process was personal and genuine; the HR team and leadership (Steven, Christopher, Megan, and John) took the time to get to know me beyond just my resume, and that meant a lot.
The company culture is truly something special. It’s a drama-free, collaborative environment where feedback is constructive, communication is open, and everyone is encouraged to bring ideas to the table. Leadership is supportive and always available, and it’s clear they genuinely care about both professional and personal growth.
The benefits are incredible: remote work flexibility, unlimited vacation, and “Adapt Time” each day to take care of personal things. It’s rare to find an agency that prioritizes employee well-being this much. I also had the opportunity to attend the annual company conference during my first week, and everyone was so welcoming that it immediately felt like family.
As Web Manager, I’ve had the privilege of leading a talented and passionate web team. The department is full of accountable, creative people who care deeply about their work, and it’s been inspiring to help the team continue evolving and innovating.
Cons
Honestly, there aren’t many. The web department is still fairly young compared to other teams, but I see that more as an opportunity than a drawback. It’s exciting to be part of its growth and to help shape its future. The only minor challenge for me personally is being based in Miami, so I don’t get to see the team in person as often as others who are closer to New Jersey. However, with how connected we are through daily video calls and collaboration, it still feels like we’re all in the same room.
