Pros

Social events after work were great, with a few gems of people in the company.

Cons

CEO is slimy and disparages former employees constantly. The senior management are not interested in investing in employees. Only interested in sales. Huge amount of favoritism present, which led to a large majority of employees being disgruntled. Very high employee turnover. Junior and senior level. More than one member of senior management across global offices were fired for abusing staff physically and/or verbally. If those were the managers there were promoting it just gives an indication of the values they placed highly for their staff. Stay away if you can, as most of the staff members are looking for an out after 1-2 years at the business.

Adaptive Business Group does and always has adhered to all GDPR rules and regulations required of it. We have personnel whose focus is data security and GDPR This person was employed by Adaptive for around 60 days. This person worked for 5 of those days. She has never met or spoken to our CEO. She did not attend any social events. She did not speak with senior management. We do not have high turnover of staff, this is not an opinion but a fact, we offer hugely competitive salaries and benefits and endless autonomy and flexibility. Our turnover is under 5% per year. Our workforce is happier than it’s ever been, this person had contact with approx. 2 of our 75 staff, both of whom incidentally are long-standing, happy members of our team who are shocked at this individual’s behaviour. Unfortunately this individual provided references that were fraudulent, i.e. made-up. When we eventually tracked down the person who was supposed to have given the original reference, he had no knowledge of it. We believe the person writing this review also wrote her own reference. The other comments in this individual’s review are completely fabricated, there’s no other way to say it. We are currently investigating and taking advice on this matter.

Pros

There is absolutely no limit to your success at Adaptive Globalization. All consultant across the industry divisions has the ability to grow and maximize their earnings. Management truly cares about each consultant and works with them to ensure they have the means to reach their individual and team goals. In addition, they will hear out any challenges on any desk and find a way to overcome them quickly. Our niche markets were all chosen strategically and there is massive opportunity moving forward for growing our client base.

Cons

Since consultants have a high level of autonomy in their roles, it means how you structure your time in the office is entirely up to you. This can take time to get used to if you haven't been a recruiter before, and is usually the sole reason a consultant will struggle. Once you sync into a routine and know how to divide your efforts optimally, you're much more successful.

Pros

This job sounds like a dream on paper. International travel between four locations (airmiles), uncapped commission structure, quick career advancement, lots of social events.... And if you like a sales driven environment, you will do well - very KPI driven.

Cons

For all these pros, there is an oddly high amount of turnover. I’ve watched 15+ people leave for various reasons. A few of these reasons include: -lack of basic training and expectations -commission structure and airmiles program being unclear -managers and employees in certain offices getting too buddy-buddy resulting in favoritism -extreme inconsistency - most often applying the Wiki rules in certain circumstances yet forgetting about them in when it is convenient (this affects protocol, commissions, deals, etc) -action from upper management is reactionary instead of proactive

Good afternoon, First of all thank you so much for your review, we take all feedback very seriously. All the benefits you named above are some of the many perks and benefits we offer here at Adaptive. As part of a sales/business role, there are KPI’s to be achieved in order to unlock extra benefits which in this case are just add-ons to our competitive salaries and as you said, uncapped commissions. Our biggest satisfaction and sense of achievement is to see our employees accomplish their professional, personal and certainly financial goals at the same time we all grow our business together. If you are a current employee, please do reach out and as always, we’ll listen and work together to find the best solution. Our wiki was discontinued 12 months ago so maybe you ticked the “current employee” box by mistake? If this is the case, then we hope your time at Adaptive took you one step closer to your happiness and success. We do wish you all the very best and will always be thankful for your feedback.
