Pros

Interesting technology, when the tests are successful. Co workers were some of the most brilliant and nicest people I've ever met.

Cons

Don't believe the positive reviews. They're definitely fake. In my time there (less than 2 years, I don't know how I survived that long). I never witnessed them actually selling any product. How they generate revenue is unknown. Did witness a bunch of demos to new and old investors. CEO is an ego maniac. Witnessed constant verbal harassment of other employees to the point where they walked out of a meeting and quit on the spot. Daily meetings with no agenda, CEO just blabs on about his superior intellect and bashes the technology of other similar companies. No real team. High turnover. The worst micro management ever. Interviewed directly with the CEO and he LIED about the size of the company. I was told the company had 50 employees, but when I has hired there were less than five. At one point there were 10, including some sales and marketing, but they were let go pretty quickly over stupid reasons. CEO is on a power trip and WILL yell at you and fire people who don't fall in line with his standards. Work place is hostile, everyone works in fear of the CEOs next office arrival. Your ideas a shot down immediately because CEO and his principal engineer know all. CEO promises revolutionary technology but can never quite get it right because employee retention doesn't exist. Read somewhere online that many southern investors are suing the company because the CEO dodges their inquiries about company growth, revenue, return on investment, etc...Stay far, far away from this place!!

Pros

Solid technology. Challenging work. Good coworkers.

Cons

Previous reviews are 110% accurate. Zero perks. No flexibility in work schedule. Business hours are 9-6, and you're required to clock in and out. Yes, you are tracked closely. If you're late or need time off, CEO approval is needed minimum 24 hours ahead. ADARA is 1950's micro-management gone wild. Morbid work culture. Cross-functional interaction is prohibited. Repeat. PROHIBITED - talking to coworkers is a no-no. Don't even think about asking questions about revenue, business KPI's, or opportunities. The business model isn't clearly explained and how the company makes money is questionable. If you're brave enough to take a position, you will be yelled at, forced to take a reduced salary, or eventually let go. Possibly with no understanding of the reasons. It's inevitable. Be prepared for marathon meetings with no clear agenda - the majority of the time spent listening to the CEO monologue on the heights of his intellect above the commoners, the depth of his connections in the NSA, military, and branches of government, and how not-great his skills are as a salesman. Incredible to believe companies such as ADARA are still in existence. Do yourself a favor, pass on this place - even if your situation is desperate, you'll save yourself the pain of prolific stress.
